It turns out that BouncyCastle implements Ed25519 with code designed from the ground up to be constant-time, and has been making some progress in removing variable-time code elsewhere. Added a note about this to https://blog.cr.yp.to/20191024-eddsa.html (inside "Case study #9"). H/T Peter Dettman.
